Relatively good sized Dojo. Great Sensei and club members who are mostly mature and experienced. I've been to many Dojos and it's one of the best karate clubs in the UK in my opinion.

I started training here about 9 years ago as a white belt. Since then I've advanced all the way to 1st Dan (Black belt) and the standard of training and teaching here has been nothing short of exemplary. There's many years of experience in both the instructors and students alike, and they are always happy to help. The high standard of teaching here is perfect for beginners, as they train alongside the senior students and are guided every step of the way. I also highly recommend visiting for those of senior skill (1st Dan and above), as the knowledge of the karateka at this dojo will certainly help hone and refine your established skillset. Instructors are world-class, and above all else, it's a fun and relaxed training environment whilst still maintaining good dojo etiquette.

Must be the best Dojo in England, where Ohta Sensei, 7th Dan Chief Instructor of JKA England teaches on a regular basis, assisted by great instructors when Ohta Sensei is not there. Wednesday class 11.30 to 1 pm is especially good. Most of the class have black belts from Shodan to 6th Dan and all train very hard but with the utmost respect for visitors. If you run your own Karate Club, go there and pick up some great tips for your own lessons.
