I’ve recently had a brilliant new treatment for fibroids called Sonata. It reduced my fibroid in just a few months, with an immediate reduction in symptoms. It was a non invasive procedure with a very quick recovery. I can’t express how grateful I am to have had this treatment available. It’s wonderful that the hospital offers it - such a step forward in female medicine. Thank you and please keep supporting this game changing procedure!

Absolutely brilliant care,,, I was very nervous before my hip replacement, but from start to finish was put at ease and made to feel safe,, everyone involved in my care was marvellous. I can’t thank the anaesthetist, surgeon and the ward nurses enough, the nurses were attentive, kind and extremely helpful, the food lady was a gem, making sure I didn’t run out of hobnob biscuits, all in all a very professional team and I Thank them from the bottom of my heart. I initially faced some challenges with my experience here. The Total Care promise didn't cover diagnostic tests, which they insisted I get partway through my treatment. This led to a delay in the second half of my surgery, as they held the rest of my treatment until I paid for additional scans out of pocket. The hospital claimed the £4,000 I spent would cover a Total Care plan, but it didn't quite live up to my expectations. Moreover, my emails were overlooked for a while, but when I contacted the head office, they finally addressed my concerns. Despite these issues, I'm happy to report that they have since booked me in for my treatment, and I'm feeling more optimistic about the situation. I'm hopeful that the rest of my experience will be more positive, and I look forward to sharing my progress as I continue my treatment journey.

Had a day operation as an NHS patient yesterday, all of the staff in every department were absolutely lovely, the nurses, the anaesthetist, the surgeon, catering, they all went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, really can't reccomend them enough. They even did a follow up call today to see how I was.

I was meant to have a hernia operation under a consultant based at Oaks Hospital three months ago. The operation was cancelled due to a discrepancy on my ecg. I have had several tests since and they have all come back as satisfactory. I am still waiting for a date for my op and there seems to be no urgency from the consultant. I am very unhappy with this situation and can't believe that this is the standard of private healthcare.

Loads of delays…i waited for an hour before I was called in! Me and my partner felt extremely judged from the way the doctor was looking at us and the way he was speaking. The doctor didn’t seem to want to help us and completely dismissed us! Would definitely not recommend!
