Being relatively new to Bishop's Stortford we were looking for a Garden Centre nearby and came across Oakridge Nurseries and what a find. Staff really helpful and prices very competitive and we must not forget the Coffee Shop serving a great Lemon Drizzle Cake and Coffee. Highly recommended.

Popped into the lovely cafe today. Very friendly people. Had the most delicious lemon cake and homemade. A very generous slice to have with my coffee I look forward to going back to try the other variety of cakes and sandwiches. It's ideal if you are looking for somewhere to sit and relax for a while after exploring the garden centre.

It's unfair, I know, but I only visited to get a coffee - and it was definitely worthwhile! The person who served me was very polite, the coffee was great - and I really enjoyed my bacon sandwich! I'm afraid I didn't visit the rest of the nursery, but if it's as good as the coffee shop (by the way, it's quite well hidden), it should be great. The photo, by the way, was my view from the coffee shop.
