It may sound like the treatment Amanda gives me is not effective when I say that I've been going to her clinic for years. Her treatment though is VERY EFFECTIVE and my visits to Amanda are only once or twice a year. She has worked miracles on my upper and lower back and is very knowledgeable and professional, using a number of different treatments. What I like about Amanda's approach is that she will not ask you to come back for follow up unless absolutely necessary and will always give you tips for things you can do for yourself to prevent further injuries or speed recover.

My wife Celia regularly visits Amanda to get treated for back, neck, or arm pains usually related to the fact that we spend far too much time sitting in front of a work screen or using a desktop mouse, etc. I recently also had some sessions a few months ago had some back pains due to some prolonged intense travel. Amanda is thorough, professional, sensitive and thoughtful, exemplary in explaining not only the causes of many of the pains and problems but also in the advice on how we should try to prevent them.

I had shoulder and back problems and wanted to visit a female hence the visit to Amanda at Oaklea. I came away thinking that the gentle touch wouldn't benefit me. How wrong I was. After only a couple of visits my neck is no longer stiff and better than it has been for years. Amanda at Oaklea Osteopathy was very professional, friendly, made me feel comfortable and took down all my medical history before we began treatment on a very sore neck and shoulder in July 2019. I can't recommend Amanda enough, the pain relief gained from relaxing my back muscles was very much needed and I took.aeay some useful exercises for the next few weeks.
