Arrived on Sunday to visit mum who's been at Oaklands for 8 months now. The home under Sammy the manager, deputy manager Connie and all the staff have turned it around 100%. Mum is cared for by all the staff who have genuine empathy, the atmosphere is gentle, calm and organised. All staff took the time to have a chat with me whilst I visited mum, her bedroom was immaculate in cleanliness, homely and bright. The food is freshly prepared, home made and nutritious with choices for each meal.I feel blessed that mum has the care she deserves.

I started work at Oakland's 3 wks ago and have already resigned New staff are made to feel uncomfortable by other staff bullying was going on big number of staff turn over No shadowing in to job role no team work and feeling under pressure You were left on the floor to your own devices other staff not willing to show you Management not helpful didn't see much of them never asked if you were ok I do not recommend this place if your looking for care work
