  Atrocious Service From This Store Specifically, That Has Eradicated The Thought Of Ever Using Sports Direct Again. I Bought Some Nike Running Shoes In Size 7, They Were The Last Of Their Size, I Noticed a Pull In The Material and Told The Assistant Manager “Who’s Worked Their Over 20 Years” According To Defensive Coworkers. He Said “Oh No Worries, I Can Put Some Discount On Em For Ya” I Asked “If It Gets Any Worse Can I Bring Them Back” He Replied “Yeh Bring Them Back If They Get Any Worse” Because I Know The Likes Of Dodgy Companies and Conmen and ConWomen. So I Wanted a Verbal Agreement Between Me and This Individual. I Took Them Back a Day or Two Later Due To The Pull Worsening and Being Unhappy With The Products Structural Integrity, I Was Met With Rudeness By The Supervisor, Who I Explained The Situation To and What This “Trusted Individual” Had Said To Me and What I Said To Him, My Father Was Also There and Knows The Score. She Explained That She’s Spoke To Him On The Phone, On His Day Off and He Claimed He Never Said That and “He Clearly Stated That With Discount Items They Can’t Be Refunded” Which Is The Opposite Of “Yeh If They Get Any Worse Bring Them Back” Covering His Own Back, I Found Out On My Return To This Hellish Experience That The Individual Hadn’t Put Them Through As a Standard Discount As He Said He Had, But Put Them Through As Soiled, Leaving Me, a Less abled Brain Injured Member Of The Public With Some Mangled Shoes Costing £100 In The Cost Of Living Crisis Even Though I Was Ensured They Was Returnable Even With The “Discount”. I Pleaded To Try Come To Some Kind Of Amicable Conclusion, I Didn’t Want To Make Anyone’s Life Hard But Now To Me Sports Direct Is a Tarnished, Money Grabbing Establishment All Out To Make The Rich, Richer and Keep The General Public Scrimping With Faulty Goods. I Was Ridiculed By The Supervisor In Store Publicly Who Was Very Condescending and Irate, This Company Is Practically Criminal and Needs Sorting Out, Big Time, Avoid These At All Costs, They Will Have Your Pants Down Wherever They Can, All Secret Policies The Public Aren’t Made Aware Of Blatantly, Scum. These People Are Worse Than Bookmakers At Least Gamblers Have An Understanding That They Will Lose, Not What I Expect For a High Street Shop, Taking The Money Off The People, Company Worth Millions Borderline Billions Using Filthy Tactics To Illegitimately Take People’s Money Under False Pretence's, Needs Shutting Down, Wasters, Full Stop.

  My fiancé went into your kingswood store (hull) with his father on 04/05/23 and bought a pair of Nike Pegasus 39 Sn15 shoes at the point of purchase the person serving him and his father stated there was a slight pull in the shoes material. He also stated that he would put a staff discount on the shoe and they would be returnable if the condition worsened. This conversation was clearly remembered by my partner and his father as they joked to the person selling the shoes (assistant manager) of the discount being much higher than it the 10% he actually stated. On 07/05/23 Lewis and I returned to the same store to return the shoes as the pull had become very long considering the amount of time he had possessed the shoes for and having only worn them once. We went to the upstairs counter and spoke to a woman there who said she would have to get her supervisor as the person he had bought the shoes from had put the shoes from had not in fact put the shoes through with a 10% staff discount but had put them through as shop spoils. Not what he had clearly stated to my fiancé and his father. When we spoke to the supervisor on shift she asked for a description of the man which lew couldn’t really remember other than it was a man and the date/approximate time in question. She left and returned about 5 minutes later saying she has spoken to him and that he had said “I said the item would be non returnable if there is a discount on it and I never said staff discount” when Lewis questioned this as he and his father had clearly remembered this aspect she condescendingly said to Lewis despite him mentioning he had a brain injury “he’s worked here for 25 years and is the assistant manager” then stating “you can contact head office” abruptly. My partner and I left the premises he then returned to get the peoples names he had spoken to and when asked to obtain his receipt when he returned with it I was with him and the person he was speaking to instantly became condescending towards him and began reciting the same lines regarding the assistant manager and working there for 25 years. Lewis asked for the woman’s name who he spoke to upstairs. The man he spoke to near the front door got quite rude to him when lew questioned which of thems payroll number he had been given as he had no quarms with the woman on the tills just the supervisor. Lewis returned to the car feeling like he had been publicly humiliated by the staff in this store and does not wish to return to any of your stores again due to his treatment as he has been made out to be a liar and a fraud by your staff. Where as in reality it is you “assistant manager who’s worked here for over 20 years “ who has been misinforming customers of the fact they would be able to return the item if the faut became worse. I and my fiancé are completely and utterly disgusted at the way he has been treated. In your stores. He should not be left embarrassed by your staff and with a faulty item despite it being explicitly stated to him on purchase that it could be returned. We have come to sports direct for years for countless amounts of items and I know for a fact this has definitely put us off shopping with you

  There is a fantastic range of Sport shows ordinary walking boots socks and outdoor clothing. Leisurewear tracksuits they also had a very good selection of rock band t-shirts including quite a few by The Rolling Stones although I didn't notice them this morning. The staff were very helpful and friendly, although I was there at a very quiet time. Got exactly what I wanted, in and out in 15 minutes.
