I'm amazed to see such poor reviews, as I think this care home is exceptional. My mum has been placed on several care homes in the past 12 months and Oakbank is without doubt the very best. Elaine on reception is warm, friendly and very helpful. Pam, the manager is a star. Staff are friendly, residents get well looked after, entertainment on offer. My mum loves it here, she has made friends and feels safe in this wonderful care facility. Please do not be put off by previous poor reviews

TERRIBLE 😡 Treated my father disgusting he has had 2weeks respite there while adaptions were made to his home he has deteriorated so much been mistreated an left for hours on end in soiled bedding so bad he actually rang my mum an asked her to ring the home to see to him as his call bell was ignored my dad is paralysed from the waist down due to a broken neck and back (age 75)and can only use the left side of His upper body some days not even getting his tea till 9pm left without pain relief for hours on end. We as a family are absolutely mortified with his care he has come home so sore red raw on his personal area and crying out in agony the way these people have (so called) looked after him I wouldn't send my worst enemy there what so ever horrible place disgusting and they shouldn't be caring for people this way as a carer my self working long hours I know it's a hard job but these jokers are the kind that give all carers a bad name an I will most certainly be taking this to the CQC if you love your relatives PLEASE DONT TAKE THEM HERE 😡😡😡😡
