(Translated by Google) We stayed here for one night while hiking the West Highlandway. We stayed in a guest house of the hotel, about 50m away. Great room with a view of the lake. Dinner and breakfast also excellent. Especially a very rich breakfast buffet. We had to wait a little longer for dinner. But everything was okay and without a complaint on our part, there was an apology and a discount (Original) Während unserer Wanderung des Westhighlandways waren wir hier für eine Nacht.

Can’t comment on the hotel however the restaurant is amazing have been here a few times but on this occasion Adam our server was so welcoming with his warm friendly smile, his attention to detail with my friends fussy order he also got our issue resolved quickly and efficiently. Definitely a credit to the restaurant! Not forgetting Lauren our server towards the end of our meal was also outstanding, extremely friendly and very attentive when my friend’s daughter accidentally smashed a glass Lauren was straight over cleaning up the glass ensuring we were all ok! Adam and Lauren keep up the great work, your both assets to the restaurant. Food & drinks: Food is amazing

We visited this pub twice and had meals both times. Although the menu is pub food and doesn’t try to sell itself as a restaurant the menu is simple but quite varied. The quality of the food is excellent. We particularly liked the method of ordering using their website which means you select your food and drinks online, pay for it online and then send it to the kitchen. An estimated time of delivery to your table is also given which on both occasions was accurate. Not sure about the hygiene associated with picking up your own cutlery from trays dotted around the beer garden though! Also, the QR code for giving tips didn’t work. Overall a very pleasant experience which we would repeat.

Very over-priced (£15 for fish and chips for example) with the ridiculous requirement of having to order food to your table by using a phone app. They're obviously capitalising on a monopoly in the area. Service : 3/5 | Location : 4/5 … More
