I am concerned about this company called Oak Door Stripping. I've been dealing with them for the last 2 months while they have been stripping paint from 4 old pine doors. I live in Ipswich and wanted to use a local service but this company blatantly lied to me. They insist they have a workshop at Ipswich but they repeatedly refused to give me the address. (They have no site at Ipswich). They push hard for cash and it was only when I insisted no cash they produced a card machine. They did not want to provide any paperwork and again when I insisted I saw Ipswich on the receipt. Ipswich? I thought. They charge £30 basic paint strip rising up to £75 full strip, sand, wax service. I paid the top price but my doors came back in a terrible state. All 4 doors will have to be done again.
