Spent over two and a half grand on a custom built aquarium. Lots of help in the build. However was messed about with delivery, but things happen, the big problem was with the workmanship regarding the hood and air bubbles trapped in the seals. The front of the hood had a step in the middle because the panel wasn’t cut straight resulting in a 2mm difference!! Also on the glass panels there is loads of air bubbles trapped in the seals. Loads of photos sent to the company that clearly shows the panels not cut straight and air bubbles in the seals. The help I got was shocking, every excuse from I had knocked the hood and it probably had moved on the join and air bubbles in the seals is perfectly normal and happens when the tanks are made in cold weather to why I hadn’t noticed it on day of delivery. They eventually agreed they would pick up the hood for them to look at but couldn’t say when as they weren’t sending a van out specially and suggested I read the terms and conditions of their warranty. Every response I got was defensive and not one apology. I ended sorting the hood out myself and as for the air bubbles I have trading standards involved. But I certainly won’t be having a replacement tank from this company!! I am paying out for another company to make another tank!!! Hopefully I will get the replacement before the tank lets go and floods my living room with half a tonne of water! Avoid this company!!!!

If i could give 0 stars i would. I bought a custom tank less than 2 years ago, i received 0 paperwork apart from a invoice, nothing about the set up or the polystyrene to go with it, yet was told at the time the matt i had was fine to place the tank on. Bubbles then started to appear in my silicone at the front to which i was told were fine and it sometimes happens and then i was told i should have placed polystyrene under the tank the total opposite i was told when i bought the tank. 3 weeks after the first bubbles appeared and i was told they will be fine, my tank exploded the entire seal gave way and 600l of saltwater flooded my house causing thousands of pounds of damage to furniture and floors, to electrics blowing and needing emergency electrician round to sort this. Since then iv spoken to numerous companys that have all seen the tank and said the same things, the tank was unfit for use, thin glass no double bottomed tank for the weight and size i had and poor quality silicone. This firm have swapped names numerous times in the past few years, run by a bunch of cowboys taking peoples hard earned money and providing them with shocking poorly built tanks and shocking service. As soon as products have left the shop they are not interested Iv tried to reachout and speak to this firm about my warrenty to which they are not interested. Avoid at all costs and spend your money elsewhere or ull findout the hard way like i have.

Recently had OA Aquaria make me a 60x35x35 custom tank, it's my second ever aquarium and I'm really impressed with the quality as well as the help they gave me with all my questions. Ordered a second aquarium, needs a new hinge and I'm still waiting, communication now non-existent, dropped my score from the previous 5 stars.
