  If you want basic service, interaction with a rude manager, strange invoices, then by all means stay in this hotel. If, however, you expect services just like from any other 4 star hotel, where they would like you to come back, then chose another place. Definitely do not recommend for business travel

  To whom it may concern, I booked an order a year a head, for 4 rooms , with free cancellation. I've canelled the order about 2 days later, Althougth, at first, the hotel assured me they will refund me for the precharge, 6 weeks on and I still haven't received my money back, and the hotel stopped responding

  Excellent service. Room (two king room) was spacious. Bathroom was a bit crammed. Great location close to lots of bus stops and Holborn Underground. Only complaint was that the doors shut loudly. Your room would rattle it a neighbor closed their door.

  AVOID THIS HOTEL! The idea that this hotel is a “luxury” one is the funniest joke I’ve ever heard. Went to NYX as part of my sisters hen party, a night we were all very excited about and spent a lot of money on. Upon arrival, we were told our booking was no longer valid in the same way we’d booked online so we would have to change who was rooming with who. We changed our whole booking and one girl even made plans to go home so we could accommodate this, yet when we returned to the booking desk to sort payment a new member of staff told us that was not what we had booked! They messed us around so much and made out like we were asking for these changes. Then we went to the spa - another terrible experience. The staff could not be bothered with you in the slightest, threw the forms at you and wouldn’t even answer questions without attitude and bluntness. You’re only given robes if having an overpriced treatment, and the spa is SHOCKING. Tiny pool with no water features for back massage, 1 tiny sauna that about 4 people could fit into, and the same for the 1 steam room. There were only about 4/5 day beds as well and we were a group of 12. We booked lunch for 1:30pm but our food order was not taken until 2:00pm. We’d been waiting 30 minutes for 1 round of drinks at that point (and the restaurant was completely empty!). When our food came an hour later we were missing two whole meals so two people had to eat after everyone else. The food was stone cold and bland. They then tried to charge us for the “extra” food! My friend ordered a dessert and they brought it out with the mains… it was ice cream so they asked for it to be brought back out afterwards. They legitimately brought THE SAME DESSERT OUT FULLY MELTED!!! The managers tried to sort things out at this point and offered us some free drinks and decorations for the brides room, as well as money off the bill. We got some nice treats delivered directly from these two managers, and then the rest of the decorations were sent to the wrong room! It was comical at this point. It was after a few hours that one of our party realised she had food poisoning that she suspects was from the prawns, and therefore was unable to come out on the hen at all. This is truly the worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel, and for the price they really really need to do so much better. That’s 12 people who will never be returning and will actively tell people to avoid NYX in future for ruining my sisters hen party when it was supposed to be luxurious. We all feel we have wasted our money. The hotel needs a complete overhaul of staff bar maybe the one girl serving in the restaurant who was trying her best amongst this utter circus show. Will never ever return, and will tell everyone I know to AVOID!

  Great overall experience. Stayed for 6 nights. The room (25 m upgraded) is great and very big, bed is comfortable. Breakfast is great, many available options. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the tube (2 lines) and is centrally located. The pool is great for a morning swim (~15 m length). Overall highly recommended.

  Highly recommend. Stayed for one night as was working the marathon the next night. Everywhere was busy with marathon-related traffic but the hotel staff were superb. Ever present and helpful. My room was lovely, cool decor, nice coffee, great-smelling toiletries. And I slept well, which was the most important part for me! Also, loved spending time in the gym and spa. Will definitely stay again on my next visit.

  (Translated by Google) We chose the hotel because the reviews about it were good. Indeed, the location of the hotel is good. Even the breakfast is fine and the heated pool is excellent. But..... the room...... is a shower room and the toilet is next to the bed and to get into the shower to wash your hands in the sink, you have to squeeze together with the door and pass through it. There was no room for luggage in the room itself. We had to put them on the floor. The cleaning of the rooms did not happen and we had to ask for towels every day. The trash was also not removed and the coffee corner was not renewed. Following an application on the fourth day, we were told that the maid would arrive immediately. and what happened? is nothing. Didn't come at all. This behavior can be summed up in one word - shame!!!! (Original) בחרנו במלון מאחר וחוות הדעת עליו היו טובות. אכן, מיקום המלון טוב. אפילו ארוחת הבוקר בסדר והבריכה המחוממת מצויינת. אבל..... החדר...... חדר מקלחת והשירותים צמודים למיטה וכדי להיכנס למקלחת לשטוף ידיים בכיור, צריך להידחק יחד עם הדלת ולעבור מצידה. בחדר עצמו לא הוקצה מקום למזוודות. נאלצנו להניח אותן על הריצפה. ניקוי החדרים לא קרה ונאלצנו לבקש כל יום מגבות . גם האשפה לא פונתה ופינת הקפה לא חודשה. בעקבות פנייה ביום הרביעי נאמר לנו שהחדרנית תגיע במיידי. ומה קרה? כלום. לא הגיעה בכלל. ניתן לסכם במילה אחת התנהלות זו - בושה!!!! Rooms: החדר קטן. חדר השירותים זה משהו שלא מתקבל על הדעת. על הנקיון אין בכלל מה לדבר. אכזבה אמיתית.
