Went for the sexual health clinic day to get some contraception, when I went in the at atmosphere made me feel as though I ough to be ashamed for being there, even though I was only there to get contraception so I wouldn't get pregnant. At times just waiting to see the nurse I felt like I was going to cry because of how horrible the atmosphere there was. The nurse I saw had such a bitter attitude towards me, and it felt like I was seeing a parole officer not someone in a medical profession. She gave me contraception that I didn't want to have and on the packet put my date of birth not the date of dispensing. I had to go to my doctor so I could get proper contraception because the nurse there gave me the wrong type. Like I appreciate the free service that the sexual health clinic is offering but I genuinely don't think I could ever step foot in there for any sexual health needs even if I had to it was so awful.
