I cannot be more pleased with my stay and op at the Nuffield Health Ipswich Hospital on 18 May 2023. Five-star service with five-star medical care. The room was perfect, and everyone of the staff, from reception, attending nurse, the dining staff, the theatre staff, Craig Galloway (recovery room nurse) and of course the anaesthetist and the very excellent Dr Robert Lovell. The folks were all very personable and most professional. Now at home recovering very well from my Nerve Root Block/Foraminal Epidural Injection which was administered to aid in my trapped nerve/sciatica. Many thanks indeed. I most definitely highly recommend this hospital and their wonderful staff!

Terrible, do not use. Worst private hospital I've used in my life, including rude and improperly trained staff. - A dermatologist removed a growth from my shoulder and suggested stich removal in 14 days - I told the nurse that was in the same procedure room that I was actually going on vacation and I asked if I could leave the stitches in for 21 days, they said no and advised that it would be better to remove them 10 days post. I booked an appointment for stitches removal on day 10 post procedure - I arrived on the day and a different nurse brought me to a room, I told this nurse that it was day 10 and the dermatologist stated to remove these on day 14, they proceeded with the stiches removal - The nurse removed the stitches opening up the wound in nuffield hospital, the nurse then covered it up, placing iodine on it and bandaging the wound, told me not to remove the bandage and allowed me to leave the hospital with an open wound. - I removed the bandages as suggested the next day and there is a hole in my shoulder. - I ended up out in A+E where a doctor examined me and told me to place a complaint in with Nuffield Hospital Ipswich - I put in a complaint with the hospital director who has stated "you signed a consent form" and that they "cannot be of further support" and completely placed the blame on me. Avoid this hospital at all costs.

Gives you that authentic NHS experience at private prices. Stroppy, over-busy reception, crowded, rather run-down, not running to time, difficulty parking... Far worse than it used to be. It was an unpleasant experience.

Unacceptable for a healthcare facility to post incorrect opening hours. What a major lack of empathy and respect for those who need medical attention. Also: this place is a clinic *not* a hospital. Why are they allowed to call themselves a "hospital" is beyond me. Never again.

I had a cosmetic procedure done in August 2021. My surgeon was absolutely fantastic. He listened to what I wanted and he delivered. The cost was very reasonable in comparison to other hospitals I had spoken with. The after care was brilliant. The nurses took great care of me. I had a few complications linked to reactions to medications and they were there at all hours to help me. After leaving the hospital I called multiple times to ask for advice and nothing was ever too much trouble. A little over a year on and I'm still incredibly happy with the results of my surgery. I would definitely go back if I needed anything else in the future.

I would like to thank you for all the care I've received since August, but especially at the time of my laparoscopic procedure. Dr Leather is brilliant, nurses very kind and helpful. Huge thank you to Ros and Emma, but as well to all that took care of me during this stressful time. I wish you all the best.

Emailed to ask about a cost for a blood test... don't bother... you get transfered from help desk to Pathologhy who said they don't deal with blood test that is Brentood and as I was being transfered by phone by helpdesk they are trying to phone me to give me another number to call a different Pathologyy. What a shambles!!! Was hoping for a smooth helpful.professional approach but say not. Won't be looking to take out a private plan now either

Was treated nice at 1st But if you have any problems afterwards once you have paid Don't look to get the same service. States in the pack you get that you're care never ends and you're under guarantee but that is not true How much stress and anxiety I have been put through to trying get this resolved is unbelievable And for apparently none profit organisation But I do not believe one bit I believe once they get your money you are no more important to them
