I wanted to share my fabulous experience today . I arrived early,I was asked to fill out some forms ,I was seen early by Professor Chatterjee to have a Colposcopy. What a fabulous man,I felt at ease straight away, he was so knowledgeable and talked me through everything and was such a kind man. The procedure was a little uncomfortable, which was to be expected, but not at all painful. The wonderful nurse who chatted away ,holding my hand was lovely also. I would 100% return to this hospital and especially to Prof Chatterjee. Thank you .

All the staff, be it nurses, doctors or support staff were great during my stay. Nothing too much trouble and very quick at responding to requests. I wouldn't go anywhere else for private medical treatment.

Older lady on reception was extremely rude, even snatching like a badly behaved toddler.

Very disappointing standard of care. More worried about enforcing ridiculous visiting rules than getting my medication correct. My 3rd stay - will be my last

Very poor experience. I was kept waiting for over half an hour, as they had messed up the booking of the appointment. The Treatment itself was also very dissapointing, the physiotherapy seems to have made the pain significantly worse rather than better. Surprising that this is a private hospital, i won’t be paying again to use it.

I am currently at the Nuffield Hospital Guildford recovering from surgery, my surgeon has been amazing and extremely attentive. The surgery seems to have gone well, I also cannot fault the night staff who looked after me on Monday 9th May. They were patient with me and took extra care with me. The ensured that I was safe and comfortable to avoid bloodclot which could lead to death. They frequently checked my BP which was initially low. Today Tuesday 10th May, I have been visited by my surgeon who again has been amazing. My reason for awarding to stars is due to the lack of support that I have received so far from the day staff. I will not name anyone, however, from my first encounter this morning I have had doubts. I was supported to use the toilet, I asked that the staff support me in changing my soiled bedsheets to avoid infections. I was told the she will be back. She supported me back into the soiled bed, I had to remind her that my feet needed elevation and the blood circulation machine attached to avoid blood clot (blood clot can lead to death). I have asked a total of 3 staff to support me in changing the soiled sheet with no success. I have images of the sheet, its is unhygienic and could lead to infections. My understanding from my surgeon is that staff would encourage and support me in walking around for blood circulation, this has not happened. No of the day staff have asked to support me to achieve this, one staff supported me to the toilet and I have used that opportunity to sit on the side chair, practicing mobility on my own. This is a private hospital, my stay here has not been cost free, I have paid in the thousands for this, this kind of treatment at your most vulnerable is highly unacceptable and could be fatal. I should not have to pester staff for basic needs such as changing soiled sheet and mobility support. I will be logging this complaint on your website. I am sat here on a arm chair at the Nuffield Hospital Guildford as I write the review in utter shock.

I visited Nuffield Hospital yesterday for a proceedure and was really happy with the experience. Everyone was friendly from start to finish. The room was decent and en suite was good. Megan, Sandra and Mo were great up on the ward and Jack, Mr Way (anaesthetist), Lorraine and another lovely lady (so sorry can't recall your name) were great at keeping me entertained pre/post theatre. Mr Dimitrios Moschonas, my consultant, was reassruing throughout. A nervous day made easier by a great team and hospital. Also the food after recovery was suprisingly good too! Thank you.

I was admitted to Nuffield Guildford Hospital for a complex abdominal reconstruction on a Monday, and left by Thursday lunchtime a re-formed character! The treatment I received at all levels was outstanding. The admin was efficient, and things happened as planned and when planned. Apart from the procedure effectively being carried out by a clearly outstanding and experienced surgeon, the experience was made painless by the skill of my anaesthetist. The nursing care couldn't have been better. I thank particularly Cristina and Laury who spent most time with me. They were never far away, and, in addition, their knowledge, professionalism, kindness and sensitivity helped me when I was most vulnerable. Just so kind. The housekeping dept. ensured spotlessly clean and hygienic surroundings. I could choose from varied menu, and the high quality meals were served with cheerful punctuality. To encourage me to get on my feet again - Joe and Debbie were knowledgeable motivators as physios. (Hope I have got everyone's names right here.) It is hard retaining your self esteem when you are weakened, wearing a hospital gown, have tubes coming out of very personal areas and your fluids are on display to the world! (Especially when you have been exceptionally fit, active and independent before.) But they helped me wheel around the stand as we did the walking tour and carried my bags and bottles, as it were! ! Sorry. Too much information. Anyhow, the sensitivity and care of the staff at all levels here enable you to remain a person, not a patient. A name, not a hospital number, a room number or a condition. There is always time for a conversation rather than just professional exchanges. This is a really good hospital, with a central theme of patient first, of care and kindness. Staff here should be proud of what they achieve, both in medical outcomes and in terms of maintaining the safety and well being of their clients. Thank you.
