I'm currently visiting the Nuffield Health Derby Hospital for tests/consultations and I've had no problems at all so far the past month if so. Dr Meehan has tried everything to help my year long health problems that other doctors struggled to provide answers/help for. I especially want to give a HUGE thank you to the Radiology team that helped me today. I wish I noted the names of the staff members (blonde long haired woman and a grey shorter haired woman) down, my appointment was at 3:20PM on May 17th 2023. I am extremely claustrophobic and had an MRI not too long ago at another hospital which terrified me despite the staff there were also being fantastic. The Nuffield Radiology team today were fantastic. They didn't rush me, comforted me during my upset and made 30 minutes seem like 10. I didn't feel silly for being panicky. They were welcoming from the beginning and incredibly patient, passionate and understanding during my MRI process which gives me extremely high anxiety. They talked me through each scan and how well I was doing and it really kept me going. Thank you! Without this scan I may never have gotten answers to my health problems.

Not happy at all, first went to see Dr Kitsis about terrible pain I had in my arm, that part was good and organised. Gave me a steroid injection (unexpected cost) which didn't work. I got referred to the Spire hospital for nerve conduction testing, which was also good. However after the nerve conduction testing I was told a full report will be sent back to Dr Kitsis and had email confirmation. I tried to arrange to go back to see Dr Kitsis, left voice mails for his secretary after 6 weeks no one got back to me. I chased again and secretary answered, I explained no one has got back to me, she said I was out and and about and was ill. That's all ok but can't see after 6 weeks why no one got back to me, especially after total bill so far has come to £700 approx. Secretary was not apologetic at all, just sounded fed up, not professional. It's strange because my GP had received the full report. Secretary asked me to ring back next week to see if by then had report sent and I would then need to book into see Dr Kitsis again (another consultant charge), I don't think I should be ringing back especially after no one got back to me after leaving messages, and think it's rude to ask me. I should be phoned back instead of me doing the chasing. Anyway I'm left with severe pain which upon reading my report which my GP let me read, shows c6, c7 bi lateral sever lesion, spinal steroids, and strongly advising MRI scan. I'm now pursuing this through my doctors and the NHS route instead. Terrible service, appalling manners.

Excellent service and care from all the staff. The only disappointment is the car parking. If you arrive early in the day you are OK, but later on you have to be patient or have some one to be your driver and can wait in the car until a space is available.

Disappointing experience here last week. Saw a dermatologist as an out patient privately for some some sun damage and had no issues with his consultation - he was very prompt, efficient band professional . However could not have a treatment there and then because the ' freezing ' implement was unavailable this was down to the Nuffield ! Delay in private treatment now for 6 weeks !! Reception staff ware surely , overwhelmed by the number of patients there . Very , very disappointing private healthcare service

I was in this hospital on the 8th February this year (23) for quite a big operation, from the time I arrived, the staff were wonderful, nothing was to much trouble. Food excellent, great choice. Thanks to all.

Based on our experience.... They just want to fleece you out of as much money as they can. The consultant my wife saw didn't seem to take her condition seriously . Ended up being prescribed some tablets which when we went to a pharmacy were going to cost us an eye watering...... £180 a month!!!! VERY POOR!! Member of reception staff had a poor attitude also ...... Not good considering we were charged £200 for 15 minutes!!! Won't be bothering again any time soon.!
