Recently had surgery here. Best hospital experience I've had. Staff were all very friendly, care was brilliant, rooms were very clean and private. Been able to get through on the phone each time I've needed them.

What’s the point in having a phone if you’re not going to answer it, easily rang over 100+ times in the past week, useless

Just had to turn round half way to my blepharoplasty consultation coming from manchester which i had booked weeks ago as Ms A.Breahna just decided she won’t do the procedure on someone of my age (22) despite making my age crystal clear from the beginning. very disappointed and psyched myself up for nothing.

This hospital is very poor in that it’s really difficult to get in contact with anyone. Either the main line number just rings and rings until the call is eventually cancelled. Or on the very rare occasion that you do get through( maybe 1 in 10 calls), you’re then directed to a department specific answer phone. It’s impossible to speak to someone to resolve a query about an appointment. I’ve also tried sending messages via the hospital online contact form and that went nowhere. Then when they eventually do call to book an appointment it’s first thing in the morning on the same day with 1 hours notice of the appointment time. It’s not good enough.

It's not possible to get through to reception - I have been trying now for over 3 months. Not quite sure what to do. Looking at the other comments, I note that some bot will stick an automated message telling me to call a number but I suspect nobody will pick up.

I have experienced private medical insurance overseas and am sadly disappointed with private medical benefits in the UK and especially with the Nuffield hospital locally in Chester. Call answering is delayed; it’s a laborious process getting into a doctor and then the facilities are very average in comparison to even a third world country hospital like many I have used in South Africa which are vastly superior in my opinion. Their state of the art machinery; patient service and 5 star facilities are much better. I’m actually travelling back to them next year for treatment due to a lack of faith in the ones locally. Really sad.
