My son had an appointment with Consultant Ali Husani ENT on 26/4/23. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and comfortable by the receptionists and offered coffee. No long waiting period. Consultant Husani came straight out to meet my son and myself and was so thorough and professional. My son was encouraged to ask questions after the examination and Mr Husani answered all of them with great detail. He made my son feel comfortable and at ease. There is follow-up treatment required however, there is no worry of this after recieving the top notch care and attention by Consultant Husani. An amazing experience, this is what care should be about. Thank you to the Nuffield Hospital and of course the wonderful Mr Husani who we thoroughly recommend.

Today 17th April visiting for hospital been many times before could not praise enough but the last few weeks it's been awful today was absolutely crazy waiting 45 minutes for a blood test that's all the nurse did was walking around doing nothing in and out of rooms and to reception. I had to ask reception what the delay was but could not give me a answer then the nurse the same just kept saying sorry but sorry is not good enough not even a excuse. Last week in and out.

Phoned Thursday to try to get urgent CT scan for mum in law, had to leave voicemail as couldn't speak to a person. No answer by Friday pm so I rang again and left another message. There was an email address given on the voicemail so to try get things sorted my husband emailed as they suggested we would get a reply in 24hrs but it's now Wednesday and we have not heard a thing! So disappointed with this service. Have sorted alternative now but this is not what you expect when you opt for private health care!

I was seen by Dr Zoe Barber with Lilian the wonderful nurse. Who immediately put myself and my partner at ease. I went off for a scan with a wonderful nurse and doctor within minutes. I had good news and I do believe if it was bad news I would have been in the best place. I had my consultation scans and drainage then another consultation and was out within the hour. Money well spent. As I only found the lump two days earlier.

I was involved in a collision on Thursday and spent 9 and a half hours in A&E on the Friday and was diagnosed with a fracture of the pelvis and was sent home. Over the weekend I was in pain and found it very difficult to walk. I rang the clinic first thing Monday morning and was given an appointment that afternoon. I saw Doctor Shah who put my mind at rest and thoroughly explained the injury to me. I did not require an operation. I also underwent a partial knee replacement here 10 years ago and was extremely pleased with the care I received. Thank you all once again Stella

Had an MRI scan via insurance here and while the actual radiography team and process were excellent, the customer service side of the process was a huge let down. Lady on reception was unhelpful when I was asking about next steps, at one point walked off with another member of staff while I was waiting at the desk (then when prompted by someone I was there just got another colleague to deal with me without saying anything). Had a follow up email to confirm details who then just ignored my question about next steps entirely. Left me at this point with no idea of when or how I'll get my results. Previous to this I had made several phone calls (all the switchboard ones were totally unsuccessful and quite abrupt, but the ones to radiology were great). Despite my health insurance being the one to arrange the appointment they seemed to have no idea whether I was insured or not and I had to repeatedly answer the same questions. Overall (so far) great medical service severely let down by the customer facing side of things.

It has taken at least 8 phone calls to arrange for my notes to be transferred from the NHS to the consultant I am seeing next week- what should be a simple process. It was like talking to a brick wall- receptionists, nurses, admin people. I was passed from pillar to post and given excuse after excuse- these ranged from 'there is a fire alarm, sorry, bye!' to 'I'm new so I don't know the system' to 'ring this number'- number was invalid. Utterly useless and incompetent. I am only going to this appointment as it is the same man I saw on NHS, so I want continuity. Once that is over I will avoid this place like the plague. So unprofessional and unreassuring.
