I asked the customer service a few questions. They didn't even answer and they just took my email (mandatory field when accessing the customer service) to send me spam.

Really good experience as an outpatient seeing consultant Dr Bailey. I left feeling heard, reassured, with all of my (many!) questions answered thoroughly, and my clinic letter covered all aspects of the consultation in detail - I still don’t know how Dr Bailey managed this without taking extensive notes! I was able to book my appointment directly with her secretary, and payment for the consultation was straightforward. Paying the hospital invoice for associated costs was more difficult as the invoice number wasn’t recognised by their own automated system, but this didn’t reflect on the care and expertise I received.

Very good experience at the Nuffield, Clifton Hill. Medical staff were very friendly and helpful. All very knowledgeable and thorough in checking all my allergies/history. This gave me great confidence. Very clean room. Plenty of tea on hand which always helps recovery!

Shambolic and incompetent. Called the number advertised on their website for a mummy MOT, only to be told I had to call a central booking line to make an appointment. Called that number and was told this was incorrect. Was then transferred to someone else who didn’t know how to book those appointments and put me on hold. I gave up.

Shocking treatment for a privately paying service user. Errors with booking, clinical staff with no apparent common sense on how to rectify their mistake, absolutely no considering for the impact their error had on my health. Reception staff unable to give me the formal complaint contact details I requested, instead they inappropriately gave me a specific member of staff's contact details. And then the most pathetic excuse of an 'apology' letter from the hospital director Ann Hyde that I've ever seen with no actual apology or acknowledgement of my request. And to top it off, surprise surprise, no contact details for Ann on my letter received to be able to discuss / dispute her 'response' to my complaint. All in all, I am NEVER using this hospital's private services again. Appalling.

Not overly happy with the daycase staff here - especially when compared to other hospitals. I have paid for private treatment under GA before and received exceptional service before and after. However, this time I was let down. It could be because I was on a dental list or stuck at the back of the corridor. After my procedure, I had 2 sets of blood pressure taken within 10 minutes of eachother then I was left for over an hour I had to press the call button to get the canula removed, then didn't see anyone for over an hour and a half. After previous experiences and working on these units, I am sure more obs were necessary at spread out times. I had to leave the room 3 times to go and get someone and ask what was happening as I wanted to leave. The staff were mostly all huddled around the nurses station. I asked for paperwork and was told 5 minutes - 25 minutes later I had to go and ask someone again until I was finally able to leave. Upon paying a large amount of money, I expected a better service. Even the food and drink, I asked for a juice and yoghurt, then never saw the lady or the food or drink. There was no sense of caring "about" the patient. Compared to other hospitals where I have had 3 sets of obs, people checking, bringing food/drink, updating on how long I will be, etc. This was more like stick in a room and forget about until you remind them that you are there. That's not to fault the actual healthcare - more the service. The theatre staff were incredible and really nice and professional, only let down by the daycase unit staff.
