I LOOOVE NQ64, the staff are friendly and it’s always a fun vibe. However tonight was weird, I was asked for ID on the door, which is fair enough. When I didn’t have ID, the guy on the door was trying to sus me out rather than just saying no, and asking his colleague if he ‘knew’ me, asking for a photo of ID (which isn’t valid proof of ID). Eventually was refused entry, but felt like I had to prove myself in other ways than having ID… Was a bizarre experience and questioning door staff training?! Will be back with ID next time. Maybe remind the door staff it’s an arcade bar…?
