Notley Green is a good school and my son is thriving. The teachers are approachable and the head is quick to act upon any issues that are raised and rectify the situation. There are lots of opportunities for the parents to see the children at work and the Christmas carols round the tree are a not to be missed event. Parents evenings are well structure to ensure that parents have sufficient time to talk to the teacher, but appointments do not overrun. The level of school work is appropriate for the age and the children seem to enjoy the topics and the different activities around a topic. If the child is good at a certain subject, teachers will continue to assist the child to learn and move onto higher levels . I knocked off 1 star as the communication can sometimes be a little late or lacking but after these issues were raised, improvements have been made and the communication is improving.

My kids love their school! Have been there since Foundation. The teachers are very supportive and approachable. Any issues and a quick email to head teacher/ relevant teacher and their responses are often almost immediate, even in the evenings and at weekends. Amazing dedication to the happiness of their pupils. They also are keen to continually improve the school and are very open to suggestions from parents. I love visiting the school on the regular open days to see my kids in their classrooms. And the end of year Arts Day and Sports Day are the highlight of my year. So fab! Highly recommend this school!!

Highly recommended. An open policy where parents are welcomed in for regular open mornings and encouraged to help in class. Teaching of a high level. A good selection of after school clubs too

My daughter is a pupil at Notley Green Primary School and I have nothing but praise for the school and teachers. It is a very nurturing and supportive environment. The teachers are very approachable. My daughter is thriving and loves being at school. There are often workshops open to parents/carers and open days to observe the work that goes on. I really can't fault the school at all and would not hesitate to recommend it.

I could not be happier with Notley Green and am confident I choose the right school for my children. Initially it was the clear direction and organisation within the school, rememiscent of my own primary school, and the school's 'Growth Mindset' focus that attracted us to Notley Green, and we certainly have not be disappointed. My son has been happy from day one, and has grown in both knowledge and confidence during his time there, with great experiences both inside and outside the classroom. The school offers great support through workshops and open mornings, and we feel interacts well with parents, enabling us to take an active part in our son's education.

My daughter wants to be at school even during holiday time! This pretty much says it all for me about how much she is loving her learning and the teaching at Notley Green. When I have had the opportunity to visit the school on parents evening or open days, the staff have always been professional and organised, the school itself always clean and children's work on full display. I have no doubt at all that we chose the right school to ground our children and to give them the best possible start on their long educational road.
