So sorry to report that after many happy years getting lunch in the on-site restaurant, today we were majorly let down. We ordered a tuna mayo sandwich and a chicken tikka flatbread. The order took 40 minutes to arrive (apparently due to cooking the spiced potato slices). The sandwich bread was dry and had been spread with melted butter or margarine (not sure which). Cost of the sandwich was £6.45 as I asked for no chips included. Very disappointed so they don't deserve any stars.

No plant staff around to give help on plants. In fact no shop floor staff to be seen other than till operators. Left without making a purchase.

Beautiful garden centre with a large variety of different plants. Also has a selection of fish, rabbits and guinea pigs which are lovely to see. The shop area has lots of gardening things to buy, but also has a large selection of toys and gifts too. Well worth a browse.

Comfortable and clean garden centre cafe, unfortunately the food was a let down. Ordered a toasted cheese and chutney sandwich. Toasted very lightly with no butter and cheese that hadn’t melted and was cold, salad was brown around the edges and had seen better days. Returned the sandwich after asking for better and more toasting but was no better once received again. Very disappointing lunch and would not recommend

I can’t give an opinion on the food because we only had drinks but restaurant was pleasant and decorated to a contemporary standard.. the chair my wife used was stained but was clean. The tables had been cleared regularly by the nice young lady at the till.. Choice on the menu was good and priced reasonably.. We visited on a Friday afternoon and 2 thirds of the tables were busy so I guess weekends will be quite full.. Well worth a visit though
