Indoor plants all looked either well watered or very dry and dry leaves. There is a good variety of indoor plants to buy. Aquatics guys were very gtear and helpful with my husband finding the right fish for our little pond. Going back today to do some more plant browsing. Back from today's scouting for plants. Still the same parched plants outdoor as well as indoor. At the till no interaction from the lady until I made her very aware that me and my wheelchair were struggling with plants on my knees.

They have an enormous play area in the outdoor section. It feels like it’s been closed for ‘repairs’ ever since it opened. Jokingly today I asked a member of staff who was quiet honest and said that the manager doesn’t want to encourage people to bring their children to the store so they’re just acting as though it’s broken. Truly shocking. Families not welcome? Ok, no problem that’s the last I spend with Notcutts, which is easily in the thousands over the last couple of years alone. I’d rather drive out to Dobbies who actually welcome families. Cafe is lovely, overall store has got what you need for most albeit a little light on equipment. My issue, is the family friendly side of things. Would personally like to know the their area manager thinks of this to be honest, garden centres around the UK are doing their best to be as family friendly as possible and you do this?

Just bought some trays of Busy Lizzies (Impatients) from Notcutts, Ashton. Super plants like last years, nice moist soil and very healthy plants. Looking forward to displays like last year which were fantastic.

Range of plants and great place for a coffee and cake outside when weather is good. As well as plants and cafe there are good fish and pond sections.
