David was recommended to us by Aardvark Chimney sweeps and he recently completed some chimney capping and lead-work for us. We had 4 people quote on the work. David was keen to visit in-person and his quote was in-line with others, even though one company hadn't visited so some of their costs were estimates, and another company was cash only, and went silent when we discussed guarantees etc. The job went as planned, on time, and the quality of work looks great. We'd recommend.

Avoid David O'Donnell of Norwood Roofing at all costs, he is quite possibly the most incompetent and dishonest tradesman I have ever encountered. After spending a substantial amount of money with him for some roof work, during the next downpour it proceded to leak even more than before he'd 'fixed' it, and after finding out from my tennants that he'd only spent 2 days on the job for what was closer to a 2 week job (reflected in the price he charged me). After a week of unanswered calls and messages to him to make right the work he had quoted for (and I had paid for), I was left with no choice but to instruct another roofing company to do the job properly. What is more concerning is the amount of good reviews he has on google and other sites, as well as the East Dulwich Forum from where I got his number from. I can only guess that he is either getting his friends & family to post good reviews, he struck lucky a few times and accidently did a good honest job, or maybe the reviewers are not aware of the poor quality work he does. After all, in the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king. Service: Roof repair

David did not fix the leaky roof initially so I called back and asked if he could come back and complete the job. He failed to do this and after several calls to David he has still not returned. His "10 year guarantee" is not worth the paper it is written on. Peter, Crystal Palace.
