Security is terrible. I go through this extremely regularly. Actually wear the same travelling clothes. Sometimes it beeps and sometimes not. If it beeps you are just about subjected to a strip search, it takes ages. Upgrade the machine (like Amsterdam). Once in the departure lounge no shop open, again. The cafe is poor. Norwich Airport really needs to up its game. Not to mention the £10 Airport development fee.

Security made me empty my 2 year old’s water bottle and I was told there was somewhere to fill it up for free past security… where is that exactly because I couldn’t find it. We had to buy an overpriced bottle of water in the shop. I’ve flown several times with my child in Europe, U.K. and US and never ever been told to empty his water sippy cup out. They also threw away the juice cartons I wanted to bring for him on board. Bizarre. This was in January this year. (Other airports we’ve visited have allowed juice, water, formula, baby food and snacks all over the 100ml limit due to them being for a child). What if we were due to board as soon as we went through? Would my toddler then have had to wait for water on board the plane? Ridiculousness.

Easiest airport to fly in or out of ever. No crowds, fast security, and good facilities. Would gladly pay the 10 pound development fee any day for the convenience. Don't understand the complaints over the fee. Rather deal with Heathrow?
