Really unsure what's happened in here to the staff. I've had two separate experiences of rude staff in 1 week getting books out for my elderly mum. One incidence of a staff member telling me to continue to look for a book and not letting me explain it would have been returned to malton library and another incident with avoidance at reassuring about the parking because I forgot to key in my reg immediately. It's stressful enough trying to choose books for my elderly mum without having to deal with staff who seem very unfriendly. I'll go elsewhere I think.

This is such a great local asset and I hope we don't loose it. I've used this for reading, computers and courses. Very spacious and ample parking. In a great location and kept really clean and tidy. I particularly love the redesigned garden area. It's still a work in progress but it looks so much better already.
