I've been a member almost as long as they've been open! The centre is nicely located near the town centre and is run and staffed by a hugely friendly bunch of people! The whole team are supportive, encouraging, and really positive towards the climbers. The various bouldering routes cater for different skill levels and are changed regularly to keep you fresh. I'm now getting to grips with the ropes area too, having completed a top-rope and belay climbing course (great instruction from Rob and Nick). My youngest son is also a member, and thoroughly enjoys his time there (especially the slide in the top-out zone!). We also go to the monthly (currently) SEN sessions, which start before the normal opening time and cater for youngsters with additional needs (such as autism, or ADHD), with lower lighting and no music. These sessions are generally run by Rob and Lauren, who are both incredibly good with the youngsters and take time to encourage and support them with their climbing (either bouldering, or on the ropes). We've been to several of these sessions; he has made some friends, and I've enjoyed meeting other parents dealing with the same sorts of challenges and issues. One lovely thing from these sessions has been seeing the progress some of the youngsters have made, from not even touching the wall or holds, to climbing on ropes! The centre have also started offering 'NICAS' courses for young people; hoping my son will get involved in one in the not-too-distance future!

Absolutely fantastic place and I recommend it to all my friends. The staff are really lovely and happy to help and answer any questions you may have. Lots of different difficulties of climb and a rope area as well. I highly recommend giving this place a go!
