Letter sent to NW in relation to a bill reduction. Letter was sent 1st class at the local sorting office. After two weeks of hearing nothing I emailed them and received a reply stating that the letter had not been received by them or had been lost. I then emailed the documents to them . After 16 days of not hearing anything I then called them to find out what was going on. It turned out that the email and attached documents had been received but had been "overlooked" and not dealt with even though they claim to deal with such applications within 10 working days. Northumbrian Water is supposed to be a multi million pounds FTSE 100 company, but cannot seem to deal with mail or email even when they suggest that this is the best way to contact them.

terrible with money. After forgetting about the bill for nearly a year, they send a letter out for £347. It had had to be paid in full, with no discount being suggested, even though I'm entitled to the discount, with being on esa. The esa discount is a slow process, with colleagues not getting back to you for nearly a week! I submitted the proofs, and even that is not enough for them, picking on the names on the letters! I lost my rag this morning in anger, AWFULL
