Do yourself and your beloved ones a favour and stay away from this practice. I hope Google reviews one day will allow zero stars or minus for reviews. The long story short, with this GP your chances to meet His Majesty the King are higher than getting an appointment with a doctor in this GP. Even if you were so cleaver and sharp enough to phone exactly at 8:00:01 in the morning, you won't get an appointment. Even nurse appointment is a dream in this GP. I genuinely believe that they don't have any doctor working there, just the reception people. For the last few weeks, we couldn't get a single appointment for any of our family members. We will move to another GP!

By far the WORST medical practice I have ever visited, not only are the staff are very rude which is bad enough... I overheard the staff it was absolutely disgusting, unprofessional and unbelievable what I overheard about a Gentleman that not only served this country but was spoken about in a way they should all be very ashamed of,so bad I will not repeat what I heard ...I have since joined another practice

When I came to Canterbury from Sheffield hoping for the same service. But it was like a bad dream. I have been waiting for a face-to-face appointment since February. I feel like doctors are too shy to see patients.

The worst place ever is any places under NHS! Completely useless GP, who is not even able to prescribe any normal medicine (except for codeine of course, and in excessive amounts). Not possible to see any specialist at all (in 6 months you could end up dead without any help at all, thanks NHS). And the best suggestion ever: go private, then you won't have to wait. Amazing. Totally. How come I haven't thought of that? Together with that, nurses do not even disinfect your arm when taking blood from the vein. Medical gloves during the blood test? - Why to bother. 5 best services in the world. From the end of the list

I have been a patient of this practice for as long as I can remember though have not had to book an appointment for a long time. I've called up and asked to book a telephone consultation. There are none available today. That is fine can I book one for tomorrow or an appointment? No. How exactly do I achieve the simple process of getting a telephone consultation? I have to call at 8am in the morning. I remember it well from years ago....you are number 25 in the queue. How to waste an hour of your life.

Has been with Northgate for years and I don’t go there often like once or twice per year. It is hopeless there, the morning 8:00-9:30 walk-in clinic has been cancelled which everything need to book in with appointment. Also, they do not take part in the NHS online booking system. You have to ring at 8am to get an appointment, which is far too ridiculous for a patient when they are sick and urgently need help. I was really sick yesterday when I go into the clinic about 08:45 , the staff was free, but let me waited for few minutes to be served. Then straightly told me no walk-in and no appointment available today, did not even let me know the alternative option as in visiting the minor injuries in Canterbury hospital. The receptionist said online consultation is available, I obviously wanted to get treated properly and get the help I need, I ended up in Canterbury Hospital and transfer to Ashford A&E and needed to stay over night , while my GP asking me to do online consultation! Cannot be any worse!!
