The shop is difficult to enter due to too much clutter. You can’t move once you’ve squeezed in through the front door (should have been a red flag). Other reviews confirm the clutter problem. My Colas train wasn’t moving. Took it to be fixed. Collected it after paying £10 to have it mended. Still didn’t work. What’s worse is he managed to chip the paintwork as he struggled to get the body off. I have needed to spend £15 at a different model shop to fix the loco and buy phoenix precision paint to try and get rid of the chipped paintwork. After trying to repaint it you can still see the damage. Frustrating.

One of my favourite model shop that I've been to. Came all the way from Birmingham to visit this shop and what a surprise I got. There are stacks of old and new models from floor to ceiling and with a very friendly and knowledgeable owner that will willing to help you with anything from suggestions and advice on how to start your hobby. Definitely worth a visit!
