Item bought a week ago and not even shipped yet. Do you want me to drive up to Lancaster and collect it (at your expense)? _____________________________________ Update: And yet, I have received no information as to delivery. :( I try very hard to leave positive feedback - even when treated very poorly as a customer and to see things as a 'glass half full' situation. A simple update as to a delayed delivery and perhaps advice that the parcel is being sent by Royal Mail and not by courier might have been appropriate. I will give it 2 more working days. ----------------------------- Second update: Life gives one the chance from time to time to eat humble pie. The parcel arrived at 13:10 today. I have given more stars but feel that if there is a delivery advice webpage then it should be updated. Some of us have been scammed online and are very wary. :(

I placed an order for some yarn on Saturday afternoon, only to be pleasantly delighted when it turned up on Monday! The yarn is lovely, of course, but I was far more impressed with the efficiency with which Kate turned around my order, and with how thoughtfully it was packaged. Eco-friendly packaging and cute sheep-themed tape. The handwritten note raised a smile too. Thank you, Kate, for your care. It is these personal touches and extra attention to detail which make it so worthwhile supporting small businesses :-) Let's both hope the recipient of the gift this yarn will turn into will also think those colours go well together. I happen to agree!
