So our host Jack was great, tbh i would have liked more wine. What we had was OK but it was as a taste only - that said I would recommend as a great activity for a group to kick start a night out. Thanks to Jack I learned lots of useful tips and had a great time.

I have done both the WSET 1 and WSET 2 classroom based courses with the Northern Wine School. I did them both from personal interest, rather than for my job. I found them extremely enjoyable and rewarding. No snobbery, nothing grand, just really good, highly knowledgeable, informative and down to earth teaching. Thank you to John, Paul and the team for facilitating and hosting two wonderful evenings of wine tasting. Nothing was too much trouble to set us up for a great night. The tasting was informative, fun and very relaxed. Having experienced two tastings, I can say both John and Paul are brilliant hosts who are extremely knowledgable and were able to make the evening accessible and very enjoyable. The wine and cheese pairings were delicious and will be regulars on our shopping list from now on.
