I first went to see J. Lee in March 2022 for my consultation and was looking to get a Maori design on my right shoulder. We discussed different designs and layouts that I saw on the internet and decided to have a tattoo done on my right shoulder/upper arm. Due to my expat upbringing, I had the opportunity to travel to New Zealand/Australia when I was a teenager and got a first hand look at the different designs and became an admirer of the artwork. As someone who has played athletics my whole life - American football, baseball, basketball, football plus rugby in my 20’s for a local club in Texas, and recently Boxing, I feel my tattoo projects an image of strength and power while also embodying my inner athlete. If you are looking for a great Maori tattoo, I highly recommend J. Could not recommend this parlour more. I initially went in with a design that was too faint to use when blown up, but my artist Johnny went out of his way and spent quite a bit of time finding a new and better image that could be used! The design was a zodiac snake with a sun and moon symbol and it didn’t take long at all and the quality is absolutely amazing, could not be happier. Amazing prices and service too.
