My query is ending with dead-end every time I use e-consult for booking so I’m calling them and trying to convince the receptionist to book. It should be easier.

The Whittington Health Community Children's service offers an absolutely great service. PS: This is different from the GP practice (The Northern), which used to be located in the same building

Looking at the reviews, it's actually unsettling and a possible health and safety concern that the receptionists have so many complaints against them and still have their job? Particularly as the centre deals with newborns/children. I went in today with my son for an audiology appointment. The receptionist for this particular office on the ground floor not once looked at me, just continued speaking on her cellphone while talking to another employee who was in the receptionist area. I told them (I didn't know which one was the actual receptionist) that my son had an appointment at a certain time. Again, without looking at me, or my son, she dismissively told me to sit down in the waiting area. Half an hour after the appointment time, I went back to the desk to ask her if I needed to sign-in, (she was still on her phone, this time watching videos) to which she started YELLING at me for not having informed her that I was there with my son? When I told her that she was on her phone when I came in, she actually got out of her seat, walked across the receptionist office screaming at me in front of my son that I was the one at fault because I didn't tell her that we had an appointment. She continued to raise her voice and argue with me, insisting it was my error despite the fact that my son was visibly scared - he said several times, 'please stop yelling'. I am truly concerned about the safety and wellbeing of children that have to step into this environment just to see health professionals.

The receptionist is extremely rude on the phone. I appreciate the fact things might be difficult with appointments but a hello and good bye on the phone would have been human

Do not bring your children here for the SCT assessment. Your child will be automatically labelled autistic for them to make money with schools. We call this centre cemetery, cartel. their head quarters are family information of the borough. well organise with some schools to give wrong diagnosis to naive children and families. They chased my son even abroad to protect they sophisticated mafia ring with schools.

Today, I took my 3 year old son who was feverish at 3pm, the receptionist said there is a time slot available at 3.20 but didn't inform the nurse. People came after us without appointment were seen and we were waiting there until the fever went 40 Celsius. Then when the nurse saw my son after more than an hour wait, she blamed me why I didn't give anything for the fever and said we don't have medication. I wonder how this nurse is supposed to help sick people if she is not able to give calpol to a 3 year old kid??!!!

I joined a few years ago and it seemed much better than other previous GPS where I was registered before. But in the last year it is just impossible to get anyone to see or even call back. It is bad enough feeling unwell, but feeling completely hopeless and with no one to take care of your health makes it even worse!
