Saw Northern Broadsides perform Quality Street at Richmond Theatre last night and what a fabulous evening it was! The play was very engaging throughout and performed by an extremely talented and versatile cast. We loved the humour, the plot and the production. I feel like I would like to see it again, it was so good. Well done to all involved.

We saw As You Like It at Leeds Playhouse this week. We really enjoyed it and thought all the actors were very good. Touchstone made us laugh and Rosalind was full of energy. I only heard about the play because of the woman on national news who had complained about Yorkshire accents. What great publicity!

A version of 'As You Like It' heavily hit by covid, which they apologised for at the outset, which relaxed them and us and led to the best night out I've had in ages. Northern-Ness, a refreshing non-binariness and gender fluidity, wicked asides from a camp as Crackerjack Touchstone and recalcitrant 'sheep' made the whole shebang glorious. Go see them.

Went to see NB in Lancaster and watched As You Like It. And I did like it. I liked it alot! Excellent staging, costume and cast. Intimate theatre really brought you into the play and what a glory to hear northern accents deliver Shakespeare. Very impressed

I saw their performance of As You Like It at The Lowry theatre. I wasn't.impressed as the character to me were not made clear and I could of dealt with that if the Director had made an effort to source period dress. What is wrong with production companies these days and not doing it in the correct outfits. In three words Make An Effort.
