Recently stayed in Northcourt House and Little Northcourt combined with a group of 28 people and we all had a wonderful time. All the rooms are beautifully furnished and decorated and most have stunning views of the grounds and surroundings. There was plenty of space for our whole group to gather for meals and socializing, as well as areas for smaller groups to sit and chat. Northcourt is run by a family who take great pride in their houses and grounds. They made us feel most welcome and we were able to relax in comfortable, clean and homely surroundings. Everything is exactly as described on the website and detailed in the visitors advance information. This was our second year and we have already booked for next year. Highly recommended

Despite beautiful location and kitchen the rest of the house needs serious attention. Two showers not working, the rest were hopeless: handle on cistern very loose making it difficult to flush successfully: not sure bedside was safe: dark, old fashioned depressing bedroom furniture,a job lot? Much modernisation to be done to justify huge rental. Also owner very offhand when some members of our party with a young baby arrived 30 minutes early and was abruptly told to go to the pub!

We have just had a fabulous holiday with my family, there was 16 of us sharing the main part of the house . It was very well preserved in its English charm inside and out side , modern kitchen for your family to enjoy together . There is plenty of space so your not on top of each other. It would of been nice to use the swimming pool but it was for private use only We had a room over looking the garden to the front of the house we couldn’t fault it . Definitely recommend it for a family holiday.

The grounds are beautiful with many interesting trees, shrubs and plants, a there is a working kitchen garden and Apiary. On garden open days the cakes are amazing.
