This week had a woodburner installed. Prior to installation wall had to be unblocked as the fireplace had been bricked up and wall plastered so no sign of the original exact situe. . Once uncovered the fireplace was made good, boarded, and granite base and hearth installed, plus an oak mantel. The woodburner was installed, and tested. The workmen were excellent , faultless, left no mess indoors to clean up and finished the job in a day. From survey start to finished job, this company is the best I have ever used, recommendation cannot be any higher, 5 stars are not enough.

Do NOT use these guys! Pictures to support my review on North West Stoves Facebook Page. 1. Phoned 08.20 on the day they were coming to say they couldn’t come as not in stock - a days leave wasted 2. Rebooked came out and hearth was the wrong size and no brick slips available 3. Came back out and it was the wrong hearth again - right size wrong colour 4. Came out and fit everything the correct size but have been left with: - a ridge between the 2 pieces of hearth -cracking and rough walls - the whole wall needs replastering/skimming -the beam aside from the usual cracks you expect is actually splitting in a circular piece from side to front -beam covered in plaster -the hearth marks as hasn’t been sealed correctly. It has water marks from the adhesive they used and scratches from my coal bucket after using twice - Fire board is still exposed as they fitted the brick slips retrospectively. I had to agree to different ones as they couldn’t get the original ones ordered in stock. -No Hetas certificate received despite chasing up twice -Billed and the same day was chasing up by text 8pm at night for payment! -Refuses to rectify the issues and ignores communication

Booked Northweststoves to fit me a log burner. 2 guys came at the specified time and got down to work right away. They worked through constantly until the job was finished to a very high standard! The stove and mantle looks absolutely amazing! I cannot praise this company highly enough. If you are thinking of booking then go ahead you will not be disappointed. They are the best of the best!
