Highly recommend the A-UPRT course delivered by Northwest Aeros and Ravenair. The ground school module was very interesting and well delivered by NW Aero’s Head of Training Rob. It was great to be able to draw on his airline experience throughout the course. The hour flight in an Arrow was a great chance to understand the multi-crew aspects of upset recovery. Two hours of flying in an Extra was fantastic fun, and meant we were able to do some severe upset scenarios and experience some genuine startle effect. Ravenair at Liverpool is a great location, and all the instructors really helped push my flying. The course was delivered over a Friday to Sunday, making it much easier to fit around work commitments. Highly recommend this course to anyone doing their commercial flight training.

We also did some spinning, as I’ve not spun for a while. An excellent day’s flying, thank you. Thanks to Rob as well, for organising.
