I’d like to leave no stars but have to leave one to review?. I called the surgery today for my 15 year old, the receptionist was a lady whom I’ve become to recognise her voice to always be very abrupt and rude. I tried to get my son an appointment to be told take him out of school in a very rude and abrupt manner. I asked for her name has the whole conversation was very upsetting for me. For her to then put the phone down on me. I’ve never experienced such an unprofessional receptionist. It’s very concerning for me to think of how others may feel after speaking to her as I know of a few that have and she has caused them to be upset. I’d also like to express this happens every time I call and this lady answers but now I will no longer be quiet. It isn’t acceptable or professional!

Impossible to get an appointment as they don't answer the phones. I sat in the waiting area once and watched the receptionists chat to each other while the phones rang and rang. I was supposed to have a phone consultation today (at the doctor's behest) at 11:00. Finally called at 12:00 to talk about stuff I'd already told them.

I am registered to Dr N kumar central surgery, Past 4 days I am waiting for one appointment with GP . I got tachycardia and 35 weeks pregnant..my midwife and A&E consultant told to follow with GP for further test but no ways to contact them . Since 4 days every morning at 8:30 am I will ring them and it’s keep coming busy and at 9 am they will answer the phone and says appointment is full ..you can try tomorrow.. it’s making me very stressed..luckily I got nurse appointments and she said HR and BP is high you need to book GP appointment ..but no way to book GP.. She said to take rest .. but when I ask for sick note. Receptionist said for that I need GP appointment, with tachycardia I can’t get his appointment then for sick how I will get.. I am totally stressed.. GP surgery is to help patients but this one will give you more stress..

My wife and I visited this health centre and found the staff very helpful. The nurse we spoke to was very patient, knowledgeable and took plenty of time with us. An absolute credit to her profession. There's a large car park to the side of the building and a pharmacy at the front. Hopefully you won't need to visit this place but if you do they're very good.
