Most notably communication throughout the project was great, we could always get in touch with someone if we had an issue or question. Like every project we ran into some obstacles but North London were always available to help talk it through and come up with a plan of action. After saving up for a few years to get our dream kitchen, it was a daunting choice to to pick the right builder for our extension. However, from the initial meeting with Mike we felt reassured that NLLR would be a good choice. It felt professional from the outset and the quote was thorough and not just a paragraph with a ballpark figure on the end. Dennis and Paul and their core team were amazing and always happy to accommodate a few additions along the way. Providing excellent workmanship and consideration to our neighbours and the fact we would be living on site through the duration!!!! The Buildertrend App they use was also a great was to keep on top of what we were spending so things didn’t spiral to far from our initial costs. Working from home It was great to see the progress as it was happening and living on site was actually really helpful, being on hand to answer queries or make decisions quickly as they arose. North London Lofts did a great job on our loft. Friendly team and good communication - there was always someone on the end of the phone in their office to answer any questions (special shout out to Jess!) and they went out of their way to solve any problems that arose. Their app was extremely helpful to approve and keep track of costs and monitor progress. All in all I’d recommend them.

I found them very easy to deal with, responsive, and most importantly detail oriented. Would recommend at least speaking to them if considering undertaking work in an area they cover.

So, no building project is ever as simple, quick or stress free as you would like. However the loft conversion North London Loft Rooms have left me with is more than worth any pain in the process. The quality of the work of each of their skilled work force is exceptional. Every member of their team cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day meaning living here whilst the work was done was straightforward. Builder trend meant that staged payments and costs of changes / additions were very clear to both parties at all times - which I have previously found not to be the case with other builders. There was no quibbling with snagging, the team ensured I was 100% happy with the result and the components, even coming back quickly post build when a couple of things I’d not yet used needed some tweaks. One recommendation I’d make is to ensure you ask questions - e.g. which way does the door have to open ahead of agreeing where a light switch should go, or check the bathroom fittings ahead of ordering - all of the team will be happy to support with their extensive knowledge.

Couldn’t recommend North London Loft Rooms more. A professional outfit from start to finish, very accommodating and all trades courteous to neighbours which is important. Cannot fault the finish we have achieved to both our loft and ground floor extensions. Would definitely use them again.
