The four front sash windows of my Georgian cottage in a Conservation area, were all in need of replacement. I came across North London Box Sash company by lucky chance. The free quote for total replacement with double glazed wood like-for-like sashes was carried out meticulously, and supplied with full illustrated technical explanation, (which included installation and removal of the old windows). I had had rough quotes before, but felt that their service and product offered was very competitive. It’s rare to be able to say that right from initial enquiry, quote, acceptance contract, through to installation, I was really impressed with the quality and top skill professionalism of all who were involved. Just had three new windows from nlbs. Took a while to get the estimate through when we were first looking, but when it came it was very competitive. Service from that point onwards was flawless; polite, hard working and professional. Came when they said they would come. Did what they said they would do. Explained it was going to get dusty as the old stuff was removed and worked hard to mitigate that. And the new windows look and work great. This was the second time we have used North London Box Sash. In both cases we replaced modern double glazed windows (installed in the 1980's) with Box Sash windows. The windows are excellent quality and look great in our Victorian terraced house. Everything worked smoothly, people came when they said they would and did what they said they would do.
