Norsey woods is a great destination to head for. Convenient and connected to pathways and Billericay railway station. Essex best cake can be bought at PhoebesPantry, an artisan mobile tea and cake pit stop. Try a walk from Wickford, cake at Phoebes and a hop on the train back, for a healthy but indulgent Sunday morning. Much better than a layin.
