    Cannot rate Steve at Norcliffe Turf highly enough. He really pulled out the stops to get us out of a hole after we were badly let down by an online supplier. Steve went out of his way to make 2 fairly large deliveries to us a short notice with the turf being cut fresh immediately before delivery (we are local to their base). Highly recommended.

    I bought 40m2 of turf from these guys. They grow it themselves in Halifax so it's a) cheaper than everywhere else, b) more environmentally friendly as it hasn't been transported from down south c) better suited to northern weather. I paid a lot less than the next best quote and also wasn't charged for delivery like some places do. Booked on Thursday, arrived at given time on Saturday. Good quality hardwearing turf, pretty much immaculate. I've bought turf in the past and laid in another part of the garden - that time I used the more expensive stuff and actually the grass is too delicate for my garden which often has a few toddlers stomping about. I thought more expensive meant better but actually it seems to mean finer and actually more difficult to grow. If you need turf get it from Norcliffe's - it will be the best price, great quality and prompt arrival. 5 stars
