Rooms: Although we booked a double room, when we arrived we were told we would be staying in the Braemar Suite. The receptionist described it as "very nice". It was large but very dated & felt a bit like a care home. Food & drinks: Breakfast was excellent. Food was hot, freshly made & delicious. A pastry for afterwards with your coffee would have been nice & is my only criticism.

Rooms: The room was disgustingly dirty with urine stains on the toilet, dusty skirting boards, filthy windows, and a sticky bath. It had the strangest layout I have ever seen with a bed right next to the door, which meant you heard everything going on in the corridor during the night. The bathroom door had holes in both sides and didn't shut at all, but there was plenty of hot water. The walls were paper thin, so you could hear everything the people in the next room were doing. Food & drinks: The breakfast was economy with cheap shops-own brand cereals, toast that was like cardboard and the sausages were not very nice. The tea was like dishwater, but they did supply soya or coconut milk for non-dairy guests. Dinner was quite nice and served hot, but there were never any fish options offered, which was a shame. The only options available for vegetarians or vegans were salad or pasta. Desserts were disappointing as we were only served a hot pudding the first night, and the only cold desserts were apple pie or cheesecakes with cream that looked more like milk and cheap ice cream.
