Huge common land adjoining Heartwood Forest. Plenty of parking. Mainly hikers and families with occasional horse riders. A mixture of heathland, woods and open grassland. Easily walkable in under an hour. Also boasts a well maintained cricket pitch and model aircraft flying zone. Just a mile from Wheathamstead and Sandridge. Very popular on sunny weekends. Perfect for your kids or dog to simply enjoy the scenery, the nature and unrestricted access to all parts of the common.
