Awesome studio, by far the cleanest and nicest tattoo studio I have been in. Well designed and spacious. All the artists and other staff were super friendly and helpful. Pavel did my tattoo and did a fantastic job with it. He was very helpful with advice both on the design and placement, but also the aftercare. I am so happy with my new tattoo, I only wish I found Michelle sooner! It has taken 2 years to find a decent tattooist who can do coverups and be confident doing it. I found Michelle/Noire Ink at the Tattoo convention in Brighton in February and thought at the time if I do not find a decent tattooist here, I would have given up and gone down the gruelling route of having my old tattoo layered off……which would have taken a year of pain!! Regarding the design, I saw lots of pictures of Mandalas - along with other things that I liked online - and showed Michelle, we then worked together to make it more unique and bespoke to my liking. It was imperative that I got it right this time round. The tattoo itself is quite big and initially I was just going to have a Mandala design, but wanted something a little more interesting combined altogether in one piece. Michelle, who is brilliant at Black work and shading, did such a great job that you cannot tell there was a tattoo underneath her artwork. I wanted a black tattoo without colour, I think it looks better that way. From the very first moment I met Michelle, she made me feel at ease straight away and was very professional throughout. She has a lovely, friendly personality and is very approachable, it was important to me that I was comfortable in her company as I spent almost 2 days having the work done. Michelle was great with checking up on me and making sure I am continuing with the aftercare she has advised and my tattoo healed quickly without any issues at all. Along with the pleasure of having my tattoo done by Michelle, - over the two days, - I was fortunate to see all the other tattooists at work at the Noire Ink studio, doing amazing designs……just brilliant! The studio itself is a lovely split level building, very modern and bright. After doing all the research trying to find a great tattooist, I am truly grateful - and relieved - that I found Noire Ink and I wouldn’t think twice about recommending Michelle and - having seen them at work - the other artists there too!
