My husband purchased a NOCO boost to give both of us piece of mind if I ever broke down. Well, I did break down, at night, in a deserted car park when my battery failed. I thought never mind, I have a NOCO. Well, that went well! The NOCO I had purchased did not work. After trying various methods for some time to get my car up and running, I gave up. Someone, other than NOCO, must have been looking after me as a passing motorist did stop and jump started my car. My relief was total. I wrote to NOCO and received an automated response suggesting I follow their instructions. Insulting is a polite word I use. I replied to their automated response, advising them that after the fiasco of their product, the Boost was then attached to a separate dead battery from another vehicle. Exactly the same response. Their product just did not work. Suffice it to say, I have received no response from their customer services/support, which is probably on a par with their defunct product. The problem with a purchase such as this is that you expect the product to work when you receive it as you do not anticipate using it unless your car battery fails. By then, it it too late to find out that the product they sent you was defective. My advice, especially if you are a woman, DO NOT RELY on the NOCO. I count myself very lucky, bearing in mind the circumstances in which I found myself at night on my own. A company that does not care about its customers cannot, in my opinion, care very much about the quality of their products.
