The food was lovely. We spent a lot of time choosing wine that wasn't available. It was so dark that it was disorientating finding your way out. I watched a member of staff bang their head as he just couldn't see properly.

I had been excited to check out Noble Rot and was not disappointed. However, it really helps if you're a wine aficionado (which I am not!!). However, the food I had was awesome. I started with a salami appetizer which is a gigantic portion so be forewarned. I next had the Choux Bun, Duck Liver Parfait & Tokaji Jelly which was fantastic, the white asparagus (which is seasonal), the salmon on toasts which was sublime and for dessert I had the pannacotta which was also amazing. Service is informed and welcoming. I would definitely pay a return visit with a wine person but not sure if I would make this a go-to on my own.

Great food, great interiors and great wine. Our waiter wasn’t the most friendly but everything else was so nice that it covered for it.

Unique wine bar, small place, wines of different types, good and high quality starters and main courses with good flavors. Everything is tidy and clean at a high level. Just a pleasure to come here.

Truly special place. The reviews will tell you to try the chicken with morels and don't be intimidated by the 45 minute wait time. Trust the reviews. Even if you're one of those, "I can make chicken at home" people -- you can't do this We started with the Radishes & Cervelle de Canu and the Finocchiona & Pickled Courgettes. Both were great. The service was as good as you would expect.

Overly gloomy and pretentious setting with a highly priced menu that delivers small and not that exciting dishes, including an apple dessert that was as dry as a bone and paired with a cream that didn't go with it at all. In terms of atmosphere most people were almost whispering quietly rather than feeling free to talk, this is not surprising given the setting but adds to the discomfort of the experience. Extensive and nice selection of wines but given the price per 125ml serving it would make more sense to buy a bottle (or pass). Vegetarian options: Good luck with this, it's a heavily meat orientated dining experience.
