(Translated by Google) We stayed in the hostel for a week. The only good thing is that it's cheap. But there are many disadvantages: -You can ONLY pay with cash -Check-out is until 10:30 a.m., but the cleaning lady came into the room shortly after 10 a.m. and simply put all the things that were on the bed in a garbage bag?!! Luckily we saw it in time! -The rooms look okay though; but the blanket and pillow are very thin and not so appetizing. The mattresses are covered in blood and other stains. -The kitchen is extremely small and full of dirty dishes, we didn't eat here once. -The worst thing is definitely the bathrooms. The floor is always wet, in some there is no soap and they are also often dirty and smelly. In the upstairs bathroom, the ceiling over the shower is FULL of green mold. It was very, very gross to take a shower there and they tried not to touch anything. Better spend a little more money!!

(Translated by Google) Given that I have been going to London since 2011 every year until 2019 then post covid I returned and returned today i.e. May 2023, well .... Stay away, in 2023 There is no card option for payment and this is already a whole program, We were forced to withdraw when then in all of London everyone just wants a card, indeed in some cases only a card, well never mind, rooms that are not clean, two and a half bathrooms on each floor for so many guests and absurd hygienic conditions, uncomfortable beds and with high pillows like a slice, highly recommended, if you don't have an extra budget, don't go to London, make the extra effort and go to a more suitable structure Pps I've never reviewed and I've seen hostels in London, but this is really indecent ....

We had ants in our room. Everything was dirty and disgusting. No soap in the toilets, fungus on the walls. Nobody cared and reacted for our comments and complaints. Stay away from here. I have never had such a horrible stay!

The bad reviews pretty much sum up our experience at No. 8 Sisters Hostel. Besides the staff being super nice, the place itself is „rough“. Our room smelled quite bad and we had to share it with some ants, who took over the lockers. All the windows were covered in mold, such as the bathrooms/showers. The beds were covered in sheets when we arrived, but even that could‘nt hide the dirty mattresses. The bathrooms looked like they had‘nt been cleaned in a while. You can see signs hanging in every room, that using drugs etc. is prohibited in the rooms, which already speaks for itself. That being said, you could clearly see leftovers of substances in the bathroom. We checked out immediately the next day. The reaction of the staff showed, that guests checking out because all of that seemed to be a frequent thing. This place really wasn‘t for us, but some people seemed to be fine with the described circumstances, nevertheless.
