Had them for emergency, engineers came out told us was lifetime guarantee when we received paperwork stated 10 year guarantee, when I called to question, spoke to some sarcastic bloke and never heard back from them on that again, also our landlord chased paperwork and answers for insurance claim for months got same old answers they were too busy. Only reason they got two stars was because engineers were pleasant!

Be very wary of this company. I had blockage in drain that leads to main sewer. Guy from No1 PHD came to unblock. Put camera down & said my sewage pipes needed replacing as cracked & dislodged. Quoted 5k! I paid half up front then decided to get South West Water in for a second opinion. Nothing at all wrong with my drainage pipe plus, if there was, lateral drainage pipes responsibility of South West Water. Now in the process of getting my £2k deposit back.

Note. always get a time estimate for the work you are having done, No.1 PHD charge £99 per half an hour so it can become expensive if you have not preagreed the time for a task to complete. Their engineers are however skilled technicians and do turn up when organised.

This company takes advantage of the elderly. My Elderly grandparents charged almost £3000 pounds for replacing some damaged drainage pipe, caused them a huge deal of stress with my grandmother crying down the phone due to either having the phone put down on them or being point blank ignored. The shoddy work they had done backed up again within 3 weeks and you’ve guessed it they were ignored/phone put down on them even though they were given a “10 year guarantee on any work done” bunch of crooks.
