Our VW T2 bay had been sat up and hardly used over covid. She was running badly and would intermittently decide to die whilst out and about. We sought advice here there and everywhere... Every forum sent us down a different fault. We had got to the point of selling her as it was just a source of frustration. One final attempt and I plucked Neil off of the internet and limped her down to Fareham. I can honestly say you will not fault Neil and his team. The van was gone through with a fine tooth comb. Every fault, part and price was listed prior to any work taking place. Even when we had a few follow up niggly issues Neil came out to our house on several occasions to rectify. I would certainly recommend Neil and his honest, reliable and knowledgeable service. Lizzy Boo will be zooming there yearly for her annual service. Thanks Neil and team. NJ's did an EPIC job completing a full mechanical rebuild and complete engine rebuild with balancing and steering and braking overhaul on my 1970 fastback with some additional custom fabrication on a steel frame for fitting a beetle top fill petrol tank. Car nicely lowered too! They priced up a quote, kept to it and were happy to accommodate my additional requests as we progressed through to getting the fastback done. I'm 430 miles into the running in and the VW runs excellent, lovely and smooth, steering and brakes are spot on. I wouldn't take the car anywhere else now, Neil and Mark are my Type 3 go-to guys for sure. Excellent Garage, can't recommend highly enough for sorting your air-cooled VW! Neil is awesome. Hung about in his early career with VW trained mechanics and so is classically trained in all things VW. He worked on my Bay and set it up properly - and with a non-stock Niki Carb. You know he’s properly into his craft as he got in touch to check on a nut he was sure wasn’t tightened. Totally recommend him and his business. Sent my 1991 Corrado G60 to Neil with various issues relating to cooling and electrical gremlins. Neil was incredibly helpful, always updating me and went above and beyond to ensure my G60 was returned to me, running like a dream. He even took the time to take a look at my sons Mk1 Golf which needed a little tuning. A proper old school garage with a great friendly team - Old School Classic garages like this are few and far between these days - I can’t recommend highly enough!

Jake took care of my 1989 MK1 VW Caddy after a rear end collision. The quality of work was outstanding. I thought I'd never get it back to good but it's been totally rebuilt on the nearside rear end and looks incredible. Jake kept me updated with progress constantly which was brilliant. The attention to detail was fantastic and Jake and Neil really took care with the parts they sourced and used to keep it all original. It's a real head-turner now! I would thoroughly recommend them.
